HEYSUN, the major Mediterranean trade fair dedicated to renewable energy and scheduled for 25-27 September 2024 in Catania (Misterbianco) at SiciliaFiera, was presented today during the press conference held at 11:00 a.m. at Palazzo Piacentini – Sala del Parlamentino, thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and AEFI – Association of Italian Exhibitions and Trade Fairs.

During the event, Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, spoke, emphasizing the centrality of the South, and Sicily, in the country’s path to innovation. A place where the future of Italian businesses is being invested in the dual transition of energy and digital.

Also speaking were Pietro Piccinetti, President of the AEFI Internationalization Commission, Antonino Di Cavolo, President of SiciliaFiera, Prof. Eng. Rosario Lanzafame, President of the HEYSUN Technical Scientific Committee, and the Ambassador of Kenya, Fredrik L. Matwanga.

A variety of topics will be covered during the fair: from solar to photovoltaics, from wind to geothermal, from green hydrogen to agrivoltaics, from electric mobility to sustainable city trends. HEYSUN will host the twenty-third edition of European Mobility Week, an initiative aimed at raising awareness of green mobility and promoting behavioral change toward low-impact practices.
